Grow big, healthy, flavorful garlic with a two-part fertilizer program designed around garlic's changing needs from fall planting through spring growth. Garlic is a heavy feeder, but what it needs at planting is different from what it needs when growth takes off in spring. This duo gives you a dedicated blend for each stage.

Each Garlic Fertilizer Duo feeds 1 lb of seed garlic and includes a 12 oz Fall Planting Blend and an 8 oz Spring Growth & Bulbing Blend. If you select enough fertilizer for 5 or 10 lbs of garlic, you'll receive the corresponding amount of fertilizer.

Fall Fertilizer Blend - Planting Blend (12 oz per lb of seed garlic)

Designed to build strong roots, enrich the soil, and prepare your garlic to thrive through winter.

Ingredients:

• Harmony fertilizer - provides a balanced organic nutrient base to support early establishment and soil fertility
• Bone meal - supplies phosphorus to support root development
• Worm castings - adds organic matter, beneficial biology, and gentle plant-available nutrients
• Gypsum (calcium sulfate) - supplies calcium and sulfur without significantly changing soil pH
• Azomite - provides a broad spectrum of naturally occurring trace minerals
• Kelp meal - supplies micronutrients and naturally occurring compounds that support plant vigor and stress tolerance
• Humic DG - provides humic substances that support nutrient availability and soil function

How to use: Apply the entire 12 oz Fall Blend when planting 1 lb of seed garlic. Work it into the planting area before or as you plant rather than leaving concentrated fertilizer directly against the cloves, then water in well.

Spring Fertilizer Blend - Growth & Bulbing Blend (8 oz per lb of seed garlic)

Designed to support vigorous spring growth and provide the nutrition garlic needs as it moves toward bulb development.

Ingredients:

• Blood meal - provides readily available nitrogen to support strong spring leaf growth
• Harmony fertilizer - adds a balanced organic nutrient base for continued growth
• Sulfate of potash - supplies potassium to support bulb development, plant strength, and overall quality
• Gypsum (calcium sulfate) - supplies calcium and sulfur while leaving soil pH largely unchanged
• Worm castings - contributes organic matter, beneficial biology, and gentle nutrients
• Kelp meal - supplies micronutrients and naturally occurring compounds that support plant vigor and stress tolerance
• Humic DG - provides humic substances that support nutrient availability in actively growing soils

How to use: Apply the entire 8 oz Spring Blend when active spring growth resumes. Side-dress around the plants, keep concentrated fertilizer off the stems, and water it in well.

Why Two Blends?

Garlic grows across two seasons and its nutritional priorities change along the way. The fall blend focuses on root establishment, soil fertility, minerals, and preparing plants for winter. The spring blend supplies additional nitrogen for vigorous top growth along with potassium, calcium, sulfur, micronutrients, and soil-supporting organic matter as plants move toward bulbing.

Using two separate blends lets you provide the right nutrition at the right stage instead of applying the same fertilizer throughout the entire growing cycle.
