Pro-Pelleted Calcitic Limestone Prilled - 50 lb

Pro-Pelleted Calcitic Lime (Prilled) "“ 50 lb
This finely ground, pelletized calcitic lime is an efficient and easy-to-apply soil amendment that raises pH and supplies plant-available calcium without adding magnesium. The prilled form ensures even spreading and minimal dust, making it ideal for pastures, row crops, gardens, and food forests where quick, uniform lime application is essential.

Key Benefits

• Raises Soil pH in Acidic Soils
Helps correct acidic soil conditions, improving nutrient availability and microbial activity. Especially important in regions with high rainfall or sandy soils prone to leaching.
• High-Calcium, Low-Magnesium Formula
Made from pure calcium carbonate (typically 36"“38% Ca), this lime adds calcium without overloading magnesium"”ideal for soils already high in Mg or where soil structure improvement is desired.
• Pelletized for Easy Handling and Even Application
Prilled lime is dust-free and flows easily through spreaders for accurate, uniform distribution. Suitable for hand-spreading in garden beds or mechanical broadcast over larger acreage.
• Supports Soil Health and Plant Structure
Calcium is vital for cell wall strength, enzyme activity, and nutrient transport in plants. Applying calcitic lime ensures your crops can absorb other nutrients more effectively.
• Great for Diverse Growing Systems
Use in vegetable beds, orchards, pastures, native meadows, food forests, and silvopasture systems. Safe for organic systems when used according to standards.
