BioMax CC1 Cover Crop Mix - Oats, Peas & Radish

BioMax CC1 combines oats, field peas, radish, and brassicas in a diverse cool-season mix that puts several kinds of roots to work at once. Oats provide quick ground cover and biomass, peas add nitrogen through biological fixation, and deep-rooted radish and brassicas help loosen compacted soil and capture nutrients that might otherwise be lost over winter.

This is a great choice for vegetable gardens, market gardens, small farms, orchard alleys, and other open ground you want covered through fall and winter. Broadcast onto prepared soil, lightly rake or press the seed in for good seed-to-soil contact, and water if rain is not expected.

Why we like it: quick establishment, diverse root structure, winter soil protection, added organic matter, and a simple way to improve soil between crops.

Best planted in fall as temperatures begin to cool.
